Tiara was originally a 5-members girl group before its debut consisting Ji-Ae, Eun-Jung, Ji-Won, Hyo-Min and Ji-Yeon. Tiara was known as T-ara before its debut. The members had been training for more than 3 years as the group was in the making since 3 years ago. The group released a pre-debut song, A Good Person, in Cinderella Man OST. |

Not long after that, Ji-Yeon was announced to promote a collaboration single with labelmates, SeeYa and Davichi. Ji-Yeon continued to promote the single, Woman's Generation alongside with two members of SeeYa (excluding Nam Gyuri) and the members of Davichi. However, this single did not included the other members. Woman's Generation was in the running for most of the charts before it ended its promotions. |

On June, it was announced that Ji-Ae and Ji-Won officially left the group. Although the main reasons are still unknown, Boram, child of was rumoured to join the group. The rumour was confirmed along-side with another two members added, So-Yeon (who was trained with famous girl group, [[Girls' Generation]]) and QRi on 7th July. The first picture described them with dolls' wigs and another one described them as natural beauties. Not long after that, the company released two pictures; one is sexy and elegant while another is ugly or not pretty which was disected by netizens. |

Tiara released an official digital songle, 'Lies' on 27th July. Tiara made its officially debut on 29th July, on MBC's Radio Star. The debut was a hot talk because not many artists debuted in talk shows. The music video of 'Lies' was also released on that day. |
