Very old[edit]

This is not written like a Wikipedia article should be written. It seems like it was copied from a University research paper. It references "figure 1 and figure 2" which are not included. "Various aspects relating to teletraffic engineering in broadband networks are discussed in this article." "Links are provided for the reader interested in a more detailed description of the various concepts involved." --sweecoo (talk) 06:13, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it looks like a cut-n-paste of something from 2005 that has not been updated in six years. Not sure what to do about it. Sigh. W Nowicki (talk) 20:37, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well the {{Copypaste}} might be the other direction. http://cnx.org/content/m13376/latest/content_info#cnx_history_header indicates that page was started in February 2006 by a "Jones Kalunga". However, history of this article shows it was created by on March 18, 2005 by User:T.bata who never made any subsequent edits at all. Similar story to Broadband networks. Still not sure what to do with it, just propose deletion? W Nowicki (talk) 18:36, 4 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Pasted[edit]

I think it should be carefully merged to Teletraffic engineering. I have put up banners. --Kvng (talk) 13:03, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Clearly it was pasted from that corporate site, which is illustrated with diagrams that were not pasted. Without the stolen material, not enough remains here to justify the article's separate existence. Unless someone wants to expand it legitimately, the remnant should be further trimmed and merged to make a small paragraph in the larger article. Support. I can't see what this adds over and above Teletraffic engineering; it would be nice to have a really good article on the specific application of traffic engineering in broadband networks, which I think is an interesting topic in its own right, but this has been hanging around for years and seems only to be going backwards.
