Currently, the role-playing video games category contains the Final Fantasy series (category?) page and X-2, Adventure and a couple of others - but not I, II, VI, etc. It seems to me that we should have more consistency here - either add all the FF games to the category or leave them all out. Agree/disagree?

Arkaaito 15:29, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
:Actually, they're all in there- the final fantasy thing is a sub-category. Ergo, FFX-2 is actually counted twice. I'll fix it. --PresN 22:08, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
Alternate Endings
I've recently seen something called "sad ending". I was told it was the ending that follows if the player answers "no" to the fayth's question, "Do you want to be reunited with him?". If this ending is factual then it needs to be included in the article. Here's the URL of the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAGbUEgM8ms&mode=related&search= --DarshaAssant 18:14, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

:This isn't really suitable for the English language version - it's in Japanese. Can you find an English version? <span style="font-family:Fantasy"><font color="Fuchsia">Jelli</font><font color="Black">♥</font><font color="Fuchsia">Babi</font><font color="DeepPink">S'up</font></span> 15:52, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
:I believe this is too much of a game guide to be included in this article. But that's just my humble opinion. &mdash; Blue。 19:08, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

The story section should have spoiler warnings. Anyone disagree?

Fair use rationale for Image:FFX2YunaLenne.jpg
:Image:FFX2YunaLenne.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.<!-- Template:Missing rationale2 -->

Spoiler images
Okay, we've got spoiler tags. That's good. However, just scrolling through this page I saw an image which pretty much spoils the story. I think that should be taken down or something, because it's easy to notice even if one is just casually scrolling through a page. <small>—Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.225.141.186 (talk) 06:51, 2 December 2007 (UTC)</small><!-- Template:UnsignedIP --> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->

Dead link!
I have removed a dead link but the change was reverted. Archive should be found for these two dead links. Thanks! FFXII International + Paul Rodgers (talk) 15:47, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
:Removing a reference simply because the link is dead is bad form. Even if the information is no longer accessible, it is important to maintain a record of the sources used, and the dead link can help editors locate a working source more quickly. Unless there are a large number of such links, it would probably be better to tag the link with Dead link rather than the Citations broken template, which does not identify the particular link. == 100% For Extra Ending ==

"If 100% of the game is completed, an additional ending will be unlocked."

This is inaccurate. Most players DO believe you need to get 100% completion to get the extra ending, probably because the BradyGames Strategy guide incorrectly says so. I have beat the game several times, and have seen the additional ending at least three of those times before getting 100%.

To get the Extra Ending, you must satisfy certain story requirements during the game. These story requirements just happen to become satisfied if you do get a 100% completion, but your completion percentage has no direct affect on which ending you get.

To get the ending, you must 1)Talk to Maechen in the third chapter, and let him finish his speech. 2)Press the X button during a certain scene while in the Farplane Glenn, and again during a certain point before the ending credits. 3)Visit Lucca in chapter 5, and chase the moogle until you see "Episode Complete."
I remember seeing an online guide somewhere that explains this in detail. I'll try to find it later. Oracleofdelphi (talk) 00:40, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
:Are we talking about the same additional scene? As I understand it, it's the scene that follows the FMV that requires 100% completion. -- ianiceboy (talk) 12:53, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
::Just to clarify, the extra ending here refers to the "Reunion" scene where Tidus is, well, reunited with Yuna. This does not require 100% completion, but does require the above tasks to be completed. Apparently it does require a certain minimum completion percentage, but I'm not sure exactly how much this is. A bonus scene following the credits with Tidus and Yuna at Zanarkand (something about cherishing...) does require 100% completion. Also just to clarify, it is impossible to get 100% in the first playthrough. A New Game+ must be completed, and the sphere retrieved at Kilika in Chapter 1 must be given to whichever party (the Youth League or New Yevon) you didn't give it to first time. Yellow Mage (talk) 13:28, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
:::No, it's not impossible. It was spelled out how to get it in the Ultimania for the game, and can be found on any walkthrough site. --PresN (talk) 14:44, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

Possible new image
I believe that a new image is needed to illustrate the "Garmet Grid" gameplay aspect. Firstly, it is an important gameplay aspect. Secondly, the text description,
<blockquote>
The Garment Grid is a placard featuring a geometric shape connected by nodes. These nodes are slots that can be filled with dresspheres, allowing characters to change character classes during their turn in battle. Most Garment Grids possess Gates that when passed through grant the user a complimentary buff.
</blockquote>
is inadequate for people unfamiliar with the game to comprehend the concept. Although a FFX-2 veteran may visualize it, a screenshot is needed for someone new to the game to even begin to grasp how the "Grid" works. Thirdly, this can be accomplished without raising the number of screens in the article; if I recall correctly, a screen with the grid on it pushes the battle screen to the right, so the basic gameplay screen can be shown simultaneously. --Hydrokinetics12 (talk) 01:21, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned references in :Final Fantasy X-2
I check pages listed in :Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of :Final Fantasy X-2's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

<b>Reference named "edge":</b><ul>
<li>From Final Fantasy X: </li>
<li>From Final Fantasy XI: </li>
</ul>

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT<font color="#888800">⚡</font> 12:13, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
:Right, because the Edge review from FFX/XI is the same as one for X-2. Silly bot. Removed the ref/statement (added 2 days ago), please re-add if you have an actual reference to the magazine issue, don't just type in <edge/> like the IP did. --<span style="color:green">Pres</span><span style="color:blue">N</span> 14:30, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
