:I followed the link given for Atlantic Ocean that lead to the official site. As the site is flash it didn't go straight to the useful information so I removed both ocean location statements. After a few minutes of searching the official webpage I found the 'Show Description' page (click on Squidward's house), which says "Deep down in the Pacific Ocean, in the city of Bikini Bottom, lives a square yellow sea sponge named SpongeBob SquarePants".
