Source[edit]

"The Botocudos were themselves greatly struck by the Chinese coolies, whom they met in Brazilian seaports, and whom they at once accepted as kinsmen, according to Bollard."

Where are the sources? Who is Bollard? This article needs some brushing-up. 201.81.190.154 03:53, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image confirmation[edit]

I note that the image entitled "sikh_n_botocudos.jpg" not only refers to both Sikhs and Botocudos but also appears to depict a Sikh rather than a Botocudo. Can someone please verify the subject of this image.LordVetinari (talk) 07:27, 29 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Comment[edit]

I pulled this from the article if anyone wants to do anything with it. "The foreign clan of Botocudos as claimed by prince MAXIMILLAN and Dr. A.H.KEANE , is confirmed as NAC NANUK by both FRANCOIS BALTHAZAR SOLVYN(dutch painter) and Sikh historian HARPAL SINGH KASOOR.http://satguru.weebly.com/nirancari-nanuk-in-east-brasil.html". I also pulled the Sikh image. -Uyvsdi (talk) 05:47, 24 June 2011 (UTC)Uyvsdi[reply]
