Force 10 Team and equipment[edit]

Force 10 Team The team is described by the author has having the following equipment on their person or carried in their pack.

Capt. Mallory - MP40(described as a Schmeisser), Luger P08 suppressed, black rubber frogman's suit, pitons and hammer.
Cpl. Miller - MP40, Luger P08 suppressed, black rubber frogman's suit.
Col. Sravros - MP40, Luger P08, F&S knife, undefined number of Model 24 stick grenades.
Sgt. Reynolds - MP40, Luger P08 suppressed, F&S knife, Model 24 stick grenades.
Sgt. Groves - MP40, Luger P08 suppressed, Model 24 stick grenades.
Sgt. Saunders - MP40, combined radio transmitter reciever.

The Zenica Cage[edit]

The Partisans commanded by General Vukalovic are trapped in the Zenica Cage, this is described by the author as the western side of a central Yugoslavian valley and is surrounded by impassable mountains on two sides and the Neretva river the other sides. The only escape routes are the Zenica Gap, the Western Gap, the Neretva bridge and the Neretva dam all of which are controlled by the Germans. --The Mercenary 73 (talk) 19:37, 22 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Is the synopsis complete?[edit]

That doesn't sound like an ending to the novel, the characters descending the gorge near the dam. I feel like there's more to this story. I know it's not the same as the movie, but this is when the team moves to blow up the dam to stop the German advance.

Also some of the existing plot description needs some help, it's a little convoluted and could use some untangling. Deliusfan (talk) 03:09, 17 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
