I've also seen LUN masking refer to the ability of a storage system to limit which of its own FC ports can be used to communicate to a LUN. And it seems since this is implemented at a HBA level, perhaps this concept is also a form of LUN masking? One could of course use SAN zoning to make sure that HBA isn't used for the host, so that provides the equivalent function, unless one wants that host to access other LUNs on the subject storage port. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MoreFreedom (talk • contribs) 21:56, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
