Emerl?

Emerl died in Sonic Battle he was revived in Sonic Advance 3 as Gemrel therefore Emerl can't appear in this game but Gemrel however can.

Aiai

Teams?

I'm noticing a trend here. Sonic, Tails and Knuckles seem to be working together, and the baylon rogues are definitly a team. Also, this game has types like sonic heroes. So, maybe the game will have teams. What I mean is, based on your anmd the other team members standings, you might/might not win. If so, here's what the teams might be: Team Sonic: Sonic Tails Knuckles Babylon Rogues: Jet Storm Wave Team Rose: Amy Cream ?(Possibly Big or Aiai) Team Shadow: Shadow Rogue ?(Possibly Omega) Team Egg: Eggman Robo One Robo Two

They would seriously be hyping the "team" aspect if that was the case; so, for now, I think it's safe to say that the only intended teams would be Sonic's and Babylon. Anything else is just fanmade. --Shadow Hog 01:07, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

Actually, it's more likely that unlockable characters will add on to either Team Sonic or Team Babylon. Amy for Team Sonic (she's not actually unlockable, Amy is available from the start) and Eggman for Team Babylon. Cream will probably be a Team Sonic character, Shadow and Rouge could go pretty much either way. E-10000g and r would probably be on Team Babylon, considering that they're Eggman's robots, and Eggman is helping the Rogues. Any other characters right now would be speculation, but due to recent info, it's possible that Ulala, NiGHTS, and AiAi can all appear, along with other Sonic characters. From translations, it's confirmed that there are MORE than 16 characters--16 is just the amount that will be revealed on the gamesite. I'm betting on Chaotix, because I don't know any more possible flight characters (other than Charmy), and I don't think they'll reveal special, bonus characters on the gamesite. No. There is no flight robot; if there was, it'd need a board, and to actually be facing the correct direction (unless Eggman's bots excel at flying backwards). This question has already been answered on this talk page, even. i didnt add it... i just seen it on the sonic riders web site. but why would they make a power and speed robot but not a flight one? sounds wierd...

yeh ive seen it go upside down in some screens. theres just 1 more character for speed, flight and power to be reveled (on japanese site) i bet it will be team chaotix.. it has to be but only time will tell

why is everyone giving every character a motor bike and skates and all that? does anyone actually know about all that? and where did they find the names for shadows boards and charmys? People should stop trying to name Shadow's board. PERIOD. Until we have an official name, just say "Unknown" because we know that he's got a board. Actually, Revenge wouldn't work for him, either. Shadow isn't out for revenge anymore, as of Shadow the Hedgehog, so why would he have a board called that? He wouldn't want to kill GUN anymore (he's actually now FRIENDS with the Commander), and he doesn't want revenge on Sonic. Sonic's a rival, not an arch-enemy. Vandalism

Anyone else getting tired of the constant vandalism? Do you think it's possible for this to be semi-protected, or at least get an admin's attention? Because this has gone on for too long; there is no Robo 3, Chaotix, and DEFINITELY no Mario characters (why on Earth would there be any of that last one?), and we don't know the name of Shadow's board - so why do people keep adding these unsourced edits, eh? --Shadow Hog 02:49, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

Bah, one time I tried fixing some of the stuff, and I got blame for vandalism. I didn't know about the "revert" feature, and when I removed incorrect info, some admin thought I was removing stuff line-by-line. Yes, this vandalism thing is going out of wack, and it's all guests doing it. Although, as for the Chaotix and Omega--no sources point against them, though none point for them, either. The character lists do say "Confirmed" Characters, though, so they can't be put in place. Theoretically, AiAi shouldn't be in there yet, as Sonic Team hasn't confirmed him as a playable character at this moment in time. Can someone please show me where there is any info about Amy, Dr. Eggman, Cream (and Cheese), or Rouge being in the game? I have checked Sega's sites for the game and the only confirmed characters right now are Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and the three new characters from the Babylon Rogues. While it is probable that those characters I listed will appear in the game, it is not confirmed yet, and I feel that they shouldn't be listed as "known" characters yet. I was able to find more "evidence" that Shadow is in the game than any of the other characters save for Dr. Eggman. Ryohazuki1987 23:35, 16 December 2005 (UTC)

On the Sonic Rider's official website, if you go on the characters section and click the question mark below Storm it will be Rouge. So Rouge is definitely in the game. Cargo chaos 23:30, 17 December 2005 (UTC)

Ok, that's good enough for me. I just wanted to make sure that we were being careful to not include characters just because they have been in recent Sonic games. Just in case anyone is wondering, those links no longer work. Sega must've wisened up and figured out that they were letting loose their secrets. They could've at least kept Amy's and Eggman's though, seeing as they were confirmed characters from the start. That's nice, but I can easily tell they don't appreciate the pictures having been taking without their permission anymore than I personally appreciate the big, bulky pictures making that list all cluttered. All of these characters are confirmed on the official site except the Chaotix and Aiai. You can not count the Chaotix as confirmed characters!!! Where is there any official info about them in the game. And there is a Robo 3 who is probably flight type as shown by this link:

There is no Robo 3 remotely confirmed; I'm still betting that that's just a generic enemy you only see in that one stage, and is purely for decoration.

ARK

• Space Colony ARK?
  • In a recent trailer, a short and dark scene of Sonic falling through an ARK-like place can be seen. It isn't confirmed if this is ARK, but if it is, then it appears that Ark will be featured as one of the courses. A floating particle during the scene seems to indicate that this is in fact the space colony 'ARK;' however, due to gameplay footages at Gamespot, it may in fact simply be 'Sand Ruins' (as a similar block can be found there). Hope can't be given up yet, though. There's a new screenshot on the U.S. gamesite of Jet in a area that bares a striking resemblence to 'Lost Colony,' an Ark level of Eggman's in Sonic Adventure 2.

The earlier one is actually Sand Ruins. However, at the U.S. Gamesite ([6]) the later one can be seen in the screenshots. It'll start you off at the newer screenshots. First, go to 'Media,' then go to 'Screenshots.' Click the right arrow a few times and you should see Jet on a wall. Just after that is a screen that looks like Jet falling in an Ark-like area. I've also ripped out the image (though purposely leaving the backgrounds) and uploaded it to my site ([7]). I should know, I'm the one who wrote (and re-wrote; after confirming that the former was Sand Ruins) that small article. --Ultimate 03:57, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

Stats

Who the hell changed Wave and Shadow's stats?! Just because Wave is a flight character, doesn't mean she'll have the same stats as Tails. And just because Shadow's a speed character, doesn't mean he'll have the same as the others. This might be the case, but if it was on the demo disc, then that's how the stats are. Can someone (who has played the demo) please explain this for me? Also, for stats of characters who weren't confirmed, DON'T add them. Same goes for Shadow and Rouge--I just left them because I didn't know if their stats were really known or not. --Ultimate 18:35, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

A while back, Wave's stats were released - one website had pictures of their stats from in game. And I know for a fact that she had different stats from Tails - she had 4, 3, 3, 2. I changed it back.

I am incredibly sorry about that. At the time I typed it up, I couldn't quite remember the website. However, I do have it now: http://www.geocities.jp/ao_gram/sonic/TGS2005.html. The pictures were taken at the Tokyo Game Show. The Sonic Riders screens are after the Shadow and Sonic Rush sections.

As far as I know, Rouge and Shadow's stats have not been released. They're not in the demo and the only screenshots of the two are up on the Japanese Sonic Riders site. It wouldn't surprise me if Rouge did have the same stats as Wave and Shadow had the same stats as the rest of the speed characters, but for now we don't know for certain. So yes, they should be removed.
