Beckfoot School

Beckfoot School is an 11-18 comprehensive school in Bingley, West Yorkshire with Technology College status, specialist school status in the Arts, Artsmark Gold and a Sportsmark Award. It also has a Charter Mark for services to the community and is a City Learning Centre . Beckfoot School is also a training school that has attained 'Investors in People' and a 'School Achievement Award'.It has recently recieved a considerable amount of press after the head teacher, a Mr Steven was voted gay man of the year by 'The Observor Mgazine' for his substantial chrity work and ground breaking teaching techniques. The school has also released plans for the construction of a new special school along with a complete rebuild of the original school which has been met by enthusisum from all staff and students. The most recent Ofstead report on the school ws full of praise saying, "Beckfoot is good school on the verge of becoming outstanding and if it perhaps offloads some of the less apt techers primaraly found in the PE deprtment then it is sure to reach this target quickly." This brillint report is very encouraging and hopefully has provided the headtecher with some clear options for resolving the issues with teachers as he currently seems to do fuck all. :)
