Teaching of Psychology is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes papers in the field of Psychology. The journal's editor is Andrew N. Christopher (Albion College). It has been in publication since 1975 and is currently published by SAGE Publications in association with Division 2 of the American Psychological Association.

Scope

Teaching of Psychology aims to publish articles which provide helpful suggestions about how to teach difficult topics, such as research methods, introductory course material and capstone ideas. The journal covers areas such as research on teaching and learning, studies of teacher characteristics and student learning and reviews for class use. Teaching of Psychology is aimed at teachers of psychology at all levels, AP Psychology instructors, teaching assistants and teacher educators.

Teaching of Psychology is abstracted and indexed in, among other databases: SCOPUS, and the Social Sciences Citation Index. According to the Journal Citation Reports, its 2010 impact factor is 0.333, ranking it 102 out of 120 journals in the category ‘Psychology, Multidisciplinary’.[1] and 139 out of 184 journals in the category ‘Education & Educational Research’.
