TechTarget is a technology media company that provides online content for technology buyers researching and making technology decisions. The company sells marketing programs and data analytics servicesfor targeted sales and marketing efforts.[1]

TechTarget, Inc. was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Newton, Massachusetts with offices in Atlanta, Beijing, London, Munich, Paris, San Francisco, Singapore and Sydney.

History

TechTarget was founded in 1999 by Greg Strakosch and Don Hawk as a spin-off of United Communications Group (UCG). The company had its initial public offering in May 2007, listing on the NASDAQ exchange with symbol TTGT.[2] Its board of directors includes EMC Corporation founder Roger Marino, Atlanta Hawks co-owner Bruce Levenson, Leonard P. Forman, Jay Hoag, and Robert D. Burke.
