Pioneers at Israel Bowl V

The Dancing Camel Pioneers are an amateur American football team based in Tel Aviv, Israel, playing in the Israeli Football League (IFL).

The team is one of the four establishing teams of IFL. Previously based in Modi'in Pioneers moved to Tel Aviv in 2010. Pioneers is one of the oldest and most experienced teams in Israeli tackle American Football.

Achievements

The Pioneers are Becker Trophy holders of 2008-2009 season as they won Israel Bowl II. The Pioneers lost to the Tel-Aviv Sabres in Israel Bowl V (2011-2012). The Pioneers won Israel Bowl VII against the Jerusalem Lions (2013-2014). In 2015-2017 Pioneers achieved three consequent times Israel Bowl Championship game, but lost all of them, twice to Judean Rebels (2015, 2016) and once to Jerusalem lions (2017).

Sponsors

From their inception, the Pioneers' leading sponsor has been the "Dancing Camel" pub & brewery from Tel Aviv.

Since the 2011-2012 season, Clal Insurance & Football Israel join the Pioneers are primary sponsors
