A 1957 Teleavia

The Teleavia was an innovative television set designed in France. Famous designer Roger Tallon was commissioned by the French firm Thomson SA to revolutionize the shape of TV sets. He later said, in explanation of the trademark’s success and longevity: “It was the first time the shape, the function and the material absolutely intertwined”.

Its motto, from 1963, was "TELEAVIA, design also matters".
