Usage[edit]

This template is intended to be put at the top of film articles that rely primarily or entirely on the Internet Movie Database (IMDb) as a source. It places the articles in Category:Articles sourced by IMDb or an appropriate subcategory. If a significant amount of material is attributed to sources other than IMDb, but there is still unreferenced material, consider using {{Refimprove}} instead.

Parameters[edit]

This template takes two named parameters:

  • |date=, to add the date manually
  • |only=, if IMDb is the only source, then add |only=yes – the default is "no".

Examples[edit]

{{Film IMDb refimprove|{{subst:DATE}}}}
Paste-ready version for an article that relies primarily on IMDb as a source; the month and year are added automatically.
{{Film IMDb refimprove|date=July 2016}}
Paste-ready version for an article that relies primarily on IMDb as a source; the month and year are added manually.
{{Film IMDb refimprove|only=yes|{{subst:DATE}}}}
Paste-ready version for an article that relies only on IMDb as a source; the month and year are added automatically.
{{Film IMDb refimprove|only=yes|date=July 2016}}
Paste-ready version for an article that relies only on IMDb as a source; the month and year are added manually.
