This template displays a link to a page at the Google Play store (formerly the Android Marketplace).

Instructions
- 1. Go to the app's Google Play Page.
- 2. Copy only the words after the id parameter in the URL query string. Ignore the parameters after the id parameter as well as the fragment or named anchor.
- 3. The page URL should look like https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=XXX.XXXXXX.XXXXX&feature=nav_result#?t=1234567, where "XXX.XXXXXX.XXXXX" indicates the id parameter.
- 4. Add to the external links section the text:
{{Google Play|XXX.XXXXXX.XXXXX|Name}}
where "XXX.XXXXXX.XXXXX" is the id you've copied, and "Name" is the name of the Android application.
Examples
- Search the Google Play marketplace at play.google.com for "Facebook" and click on the Facebook app. You'll get to this page: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.facebook.katana&feature=nav_result#?t=1234567
- Copy "com.facebook.katana" and then add this number as parameter to the Google Play template:

- The result on the page Facebook is:
- Facebook on Google Play.
Typically this is a list item in the external links section (even if there is only one link), so you should add "*" in front.
