This template can be useful when making a sortable table list of earthquakes. It allows earthquakes to be sorted by their intensity on the Modified Mercalli scale through the automatic generation of a hidden sortkey. It is also capable of displaying the appropriate description for the intensity level.

This template prefers inline formatting of parameters.

Parameter		Description	Type	Status
desc	desc	Set to 1 in order to display the appropriate description alongside the intensity. Example 1	Number	optional
Intensity	1	Intensity of the quake. Accepts a Roman numeral between I and XII. Example I	String	required
rowspan	rowspan	Use this parameter to determine how many rows that the cell will span. Example 1	Number	optional
