Primary sources do not meet Wikipedia's requirements for reliable sources, and such content may violate Wikipedia's core content policies regarding No original research and Neutral point of view. Additionally, lack of reliable secondary sources that critically analyze primary texts may indicate lack of notability.

Usage
This template says that an article uses primary source documents from a religion or religious text, and it needs more reliable secondary sources.
