Captain Terry Wong, a helicopter pilot with the Canadian Forces, is slated to become the next Canadian astronaut, with the private firm Canadian Arrow.[1]

He received his pilot's license at the age of 17, and later became a commercial pilot. Wong, 41, also holds a Masters of Engineering degree.
