Thailand Center of Excellence for Life Sciences

The Thailand Centre of Excellence for Life Sciences (TCELS) is a non-profit organization that operates under the supervision of the Royal Thai Government. It was established on 18 June 2004 by a royal decree of the King of Thailand. Dr Nares Damrongchai is its current president and CEO.[1]

The focus of TCELS is to encourage investment and development of a life sciences industry in Thailand, as well as promoting life sciences research. It seeks to create partnerships with foreign investors and foster collaboration between educational institutions and the private sector.
