The 100 is the first book in a young adult science fiction series by Kass Morgan.

Series

The 100 is the first in a series of books which to date have been published by Little, Brown Books for Young Readers (also known under the marketing name "LB Teen") which is an imprint of the Hachette Book Group. The first book was released on September 3, 2013.[1]

The second book in the series, Day 21, was released on September 25, 2014.[2] The plot of this book begins 21 days after the 100 arrive on Earth.

The third book in the series, Homecoming, will be available on February 26, 2015.[3] The plot of this book begins several weeks after the 100 arrive on Earth.

Television adaptation

On May 9, 2013, The CW Television Network announced that the pilot was officially ordered to series for the 2013–14 American television season. The series was developed by Jason Rothenberg. It premiered on March 19, 2014. On May 8, 2014, The CW renewed The 100 for a second season, it was released on October 22, 2014.[6] On January 11, 2015, The CW renewed the series for a third season.[7]
