The Apprentice (UK Series Seven) is Series Seven of The Apprentice is a British reality television series. The series started on BBC One on 10 May 2011, and will run for 12 hour-long episodes, as in all previous years, except that the series will run for 11 weeks.
There are sixteen participants and the board consists of Lord Alan Sugar, Nick Hewer and Karren Brady, who is reprising her role from the previous series.

Though all series usually begin in March, this series was postponed till the May by the BBC, as the previous series had ended in December, only four months before. There has been a change in prize too. Instead of the £ 100,000 salary, the winner will be given £ 250,000 to start his or her own business, with Lord Sugar being the joint owner.

The first task was shown on 10 May 2011, and the candidates were given £250 to invest in fresh fruit and vegetables, making juices, fruit salads and soups, and pasta to tempt London's hungry workforce. The second task aired on the very next day, and then all episodes will be shown every Wednesday.
