Solamente nero (internationally released as The Bloodstained Shadow, Bloodstained Shadow and Only Blackness) is a 1978 Italian giallo film directed by Antonio Bido. The film was referred as "a fine example of a competent giallo, as it contains all of the requisite elements".[1] Paul Simpson wrote about the film: "The pacing goes awry, but Bido uses the unusual setting well and the murders are memorably gory."[2][3][4]

Plot

A mysterious stranger kills a young girl. Young Stefano returns home to Venice to visit his brother, a priest with several enemies. As people begin dying, Stefano tries to solve the mystery while having an affair with a local woman.
