This article is about an environmental advocacy group. For the University of Michigan organization formerly known as The Detroit Project, see The Detroit Partnership.

The Detroit Project was a group that lobbies American automakers to build cars and SUVs that have higher fuel efficiency and use alternative fuels. The group also lobbied politicians to take action to reducing United States petroleum dependence.[1]
