Midday with Margaret Throsby (formerly The Margaret Throsby Interview and The Morning Interview with Margaret Throsby) is an Australian radio program on ABC Classic FM, as well as on the ABC Radio National network. The program, similar in format to Desert Island Discs,[1] currently airs on weekdays at 12:05 pm and has been hosted by Margaret Throsby for more than 15 years.[clarification needed]

Guests come from a wide range of backgrounds; artists, writers, musicians, professors, philosophers. Visiting overseas experts in a wide variety of areas are also invited onto the program. The focus of the show is what the subjects have to say, often on current affairs. Not all choose to play classical music - jazz, pop and rock are frequently chosen.

The Margaret Throsby Show was broadcast on ABC's Radio 2BL from the 1980s to the 1990s.
