The Musician at the Dragon Citadel (Vietnamese: Long-thành cầm-giả ca) is a 2010 Vietnamese film rewritten from Nguyễn Du's poem for the Millennial Anniversary of Hanoi[1] directed by Đào Bá Sơn.

Plot

Mandarin Tố Như meets a musician and they fall in love. But he already has a wife, and doesn't want to take her even when he meets her several times and even has sex with her later. He meets her when she is old, feeling sorry, writes a poem for her, and she jumps into a well that nobody wants to drink the water later[2].
