The Paradise Novels is a set of three spiritually inspired novels by Ted Dekker, written mostly in 2006, and is part of a larger story called the Books of History Chronicles, along with the Circle Series and The Lost Books.

Plot

The book starts David Abraham joining the Harvard-sponsored project that has to do with orphaned kids in Colorado. It then fast forwards to 13 years later where a man named Marsuvees Black walks into a small town called Paradise and kills a mute man who goes by Cecil Marshal in the presence of a boy named Johnny Drake.
