"The Ragged Edge" is an episode from the fifth season of the science fiction television series Babylon 5.

Synopsis

Garibaldi travels to the Drazi homeworld to investigate attacks on Alliance shipping lanes. Partly due to his drinking, the assignment does not go smoothly.

Londo Mollari and G'Kar return to Babylon 5 from Centauri Prime to discover that G'Kar has become a religious figure to his people, much to G'Kar's dismay.

Arc significance

  • It is learned that the Centauri are involved in the attacks on the Alliance shipping lanes.
  • Dr. Stephen Franklin reveals his intention to take over as the head of Xenobiology Research on Earth and as a result will be leaving Babylon 5. His conversation also reveals what has become of Dr. Kyle, who was head doctor of the station in the pilot.
