Plot synopsis

Ben Addison is a conscientious clerk for the Supreme Court, fresh out of Yale Law. He clerks for one of the most revered justices. He and his co-clerk Lisa are intelligent, type-A, and novices. Ben is so inexperienced he accidentally reveals an upcoming decision to another lawyer. That lawyer is a fraud though; he makes millions off the announcement. Ben's fears are compounded when the lawyer blackmails Ben. To save himself, Ben shares his secret with Lisa and his D.C. roommates. One works at the State Department; one is a reporter for the Washington Daily; another is an assistant to a leading senator. The team uses their resources to help uncover the blackmailer and save their friend. The friends soon realize that their abuse of power comes at a cost. Someone within their circle is leaking information. Pitted against one another and the blackmailer, they must battle internal and external forces to secure their once bright futures.
