The Trouble with Grandpa (also known as Grandpa's Day) is a 1981 American syndicated television special produced by Paulist Productions starring Meg Tilly and Elisha Cook, Jr.. It was broadcast as a presentation of "Capital Cities Family Theatre" in March 1981.[1]

Synopsis

The relationship between a 17-year-old girl named Dorie (Meg Tilly) and her 70-year-old grandfather (Elisha Cook, Jr.) – two lonely people, both dependent upon each other – and both afraid of facing the future.
