Incidents in Maguiresbridge during the Troubles resulting in two or more fatalities:

1986

  • 11 February 1986 - Derek Breen (29), an off duty member of the Royal Ulster Constabulary, was shot dead by the Provisional Irish Republican Army, and John McCabe (25), a Catholic civilian and barman, was caught in the gunfire and died at the scene in the Talk of the Town Bar (now the Coach Inn), Maguiresbridge.
