Thijs ter Horst (born (1991-09-18)18 September 1991) is a Dutch male volleyball player. He is part of the Netherlands men's national volleyball team. On club level he plays for Copra Elior Piacenza.[1]Thijs ter Horst is a very promising wing spiker. The 2.04m tall spiker is known for his high reach, and can be highly effective in attack. Ter Horst made his debut for the national team in 2011, in a friendly match against Belgium. Since then he sang the national anthem 119 times (08-05-2016). With the Dutch team he won the European League in 2012.

In the 2015-2016 season, Ter Horst played for the Italian team of Copra Elior Piacenza. The wing spiker was born and raised in the eastern part of Holland, where he started playing volleyball in 1998 at Flash (Nijverdal).
