Thomas C. Gallagher is the Chief Executive Officer of Genuine Parts Company.

Career

Gallagher has been the CEO of Genuine Parts Company since August 2004, President since 1990, and Chairman of the Board since February 2005. Prior to these positions, he was the Chief Operating Officer from 1990 to August 2004.[1]

In addition to his service at Genuine Parts Co., he is also an independent Trustee of 61 portfolios of STI Fund Complex. Previously, he was a member of the board of National Services Industries Inc. until January 2002. He also was a member of the Oxford Industries Inc. board from 1991 to January 2007.[2]

Compensation

While CEO of Genuine Parts in 2009, Thomas C. Gallagher earned a total compensation of $1,812,778, which included a base salary of $875,000, a cash bonus of $812,597, stocks granted of $0, options granted of $0 and other compensation of $125,181.[3]
