In December 2007 Thomas was invited to spend some time at the [[Luton & Dunstable Hospital]] by his aunt, who works there. He spend time with children who would be spending Christmas there. During his time there he managed to visit youngsters in all three of the L&D's children's wards and he stopped for pictures and a chat, as well as signing autographs.
