Timocratica melanostriga is a moth in the Depressariidae family. It was described by Becker in 1982. It is found in Brazil (Santa Catarina).[1]
The wingspan is about 21 mm. The ground colour of the forewings is white, with the basal half of a number of veins, the fold and the middle of the cell dashed with dark greyish-fuscous. The underside is white, with the same veins marked with fuscous. The hindwings has the veins and dorsal half of the cell fuscous.[2]
