Syed Yörgüç Tipu Sharif better known as Tipu Sharif is a Pakistan-based actor and singer-songwriter of Pakistani and Turkish descent.[1]

Career

Tipu Sharif has been active in the Pakistani television industry since 2005, and in the span of 11 years he has acted in close to a 100 drama serials, in which he has portrayed diverse characters which are testament to his versatility as an actor. He made his film debut in 2015 with the biographical film Manto.[2] He will also be in a supporting role in the upcoming film Saawan (2016) which is directed by Farhan Alam.[3] Beyond acting Tipu is working on his debut album Ilham which is set to release in Summer of 2016. He recently released a new music video for the single Lamhay from the album to positive reviews.[4][5]
