Title is the debut extended play (EP) by American recording artist Meghan Trainor, released on 9 September 2014 by Epic Records.[1] The EP was preceded by the release of the single "All About That Bass".

Promotion

Trainor performed "All About That Bass" live in Nashville at an Emily West show on July 16, 2014,[2] Live! with Kelly and Michael on August 7, 2014[3] and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with The Roots on September 6, 2014.[4] Trainor performed "Title" in New York City on August 17, 2014[5] and "Dear Future Husband" in Kansas City on August 10, 2014.[6]

Singles

"All About That Bass" was released as the first single from the EP on June 2, 2014. The music video was directed by Fatima Robinson. It was choreographed by Charm La'Donna and features Vine celebrity Sione Maraschino.[7] Commercially, the song was a success, topping the Billboard Hot 100 and charts in Australia, Austria, Canada, Denmark, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.[8]

Other songs

"Dear Future Husband" was originally announced as the second single in a interview with PopJustice, however, in an interview with MTV, Trainor revealed that she had chosen "Title" as the second single instead.[9] The song was cancelled as a single, but peaked at number 9 on the New Zealand Singles Chart.[10]
