Tlumačov is a village and municipality (obec) in Domažlice District in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 11.87 square kilometres (4.58 sq mi), and has a population of 412 (as at 28 August 2006).

Tlumačov lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) south of Domažlice, 51 km (32 mi) south-west of Plzeň, and 132 km (82 mi) south-west of Prague.
