Total Drama Action is the title for the second season of Total Drama Island. Chris Maclean will return as the host, and Chef Hatchet will return as the chef. The show takes place on an abandoned film studio back lot, where the contestants will stay for six weeks, competing in various movie genre-themed challenges for one million dollars. The losers will take the Red Carpet Walk of Shame to the Limo of Losers and leave Total Drama Action forever. There will be fourteen returning contestants fromthe first season: Beth, Bridgette, DJ, Duncan, Geoff, Gwen, Harold, Heather, Izzy, Justin, Leshawna, Lindsay, Owen, and Trent. Two new contestants are expected to join, named Derek and Crystal. Cody, Courtney, Eva, Ezekiel, Noah, Katie, Sadie, and Tyler will not be returning, but are expected to star in a talk-show segment. The show is expected to air in Summer 2009. |
