Toxicon is a peer-reviewed scientific journal of toxinology and the official journal of the International Society on Toxinology. It is published by Elsevier and the editor-in-chief is Alan L. Harvey. It aims to publish original research, novel findings, and review papers on toxins and their chemical, toxicological, pharmacological, and immunological properties.

The journal was established in 1962. According to the Journal Citation Reports, it received a 2014 impact factor of 2.492, ranking it 41st out of 87 journals in the category "Toxicology"[1] and 115th out of 254 journals in the category "Pharmacology & Pharmacy".[2]
