Tredinnick is a Cornish surname. It derives from one of the places called Tredinnick; Tredinnick is formed from the elements "tre-" (homestead) and either "dynek" (fortified), "eythynek" (overgrown with gorse) or "redynek" (overgrown with bracken).[1]
