Tuckahoe Junior High School

This school was built in 1959. It costed around 1.3 million dollars to build. It was meant to hold 1,200 students. It originally was built with 10 buildings all named after patriots.

Principals

Some of Tuckahoe's most well-known principals are Dr. T. C. Anderson, Diana Winston, Brian Binggeli, Dr. Kurt Hullet, and a former student, teacher, and coach of Tuckahoe, our current principal Dr. Brian P. Fellows who will not be with us next year. He is going to plan for Holman Middle School which will be opening in fall of 2010. We will miss you Dr. Fellows!

Tuckahoe Middle School Today (2008-2009)

Tuckahoe now has a block schedule, and a core values program that gets students to have a work etchic, honesty, respect, and responsibility. It also has 11 buildings. Henry and Jefferson which are mainly 6th grade buildings, Lee and Bland which are mainly 8th grade buildings, Madison and Nelson which are mainly 7th grade buildings, Clark, Wythe, Davis, Stuart, and Randolph which are all grades, Taylor that's just a kitchen and cafeteria, and lastly, Washington which consists of the main office, guidance, the clinic, etc. This school today has a population of around 1,100 great students.
