Tyson Hesse is an American graphic novel illustrator and animator, best known for his work on the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series from Archie Comics. A longtime fan of the franchise, he also lead the creation of the animated cutscenes for the 2017 platform game, Sonic Mania.[1] Hesse is the creator of the webcomic, Diesel, and serves as writer and artist for the webcomic's follow-up graphic novel, Diesel: Ignition.[2]

Hesse has also contributed art to Dream Daddy and The Amazing World of Gumball.[3][4]

Hesse will be involved in the 2018 IDW's Sonic the Hedgehog comic book.[5][6]
