Ashraf Uddin Ahmed (known by the stage name Ujjal) is a former Bangladeshi film actor and director.[1] He acted in over 100 films and also in about 100 television plays.[1]

Career

In 1970, Ujjal debuted his acting career in Subhash Dutta's film Binimoy.[2] Over the years he acted with actresses like Kabori, Rozina,Bobita, Shabana, Shabnam, Sucharita and Dolly Anwar.[1]

Ujjal also directed the films Shakti Porikkha, Tibro Protibad, and Paaper Shasti.[1]

Ujjal is involved in the Film Producers and Distributors Association and a member of the Film Censor Board.[3]
