The Ulaanbaatar book fair is organized every year in May during the Spring and in September during the Autumn in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. More than 300 authors and more than 120 publishing houses and related organizations attend the event along with thousands of book readers. This event is being organized by the city cultural department and the Ministry of Education of Mongolia. This book fair allows book readers to get introduced with the newest books, meet authors and attend their book talks, to get networked and to broaden their book cultural experiences.

At the same time in other cities of Mongolia and provincial capitals organize same book fairs each year as a major cultural event.

During this book fair writers and publishers much easier get networked and find their co-operation opportunities. Plus the local readers have a chance to deeply learn about book other communities. [1] [2] [3]
