Leonard Grant (born January 1, 1982 in Brooklyn, New York, USA) better known as Uncle Murda, Murda & Uncle being added by the kids in his neighborhood projects to whom he would generously give money to, is an African American British rapper from Brooklyn, New York. Uncle Murda has been known to be "Too hard for hip hop" because of his Hardcore lyrics about his lifestyle as a gangster living in the ghetto. He has his own rap crew named GMG which is short for "Getting Money Gangstas".

Beef with Papoose

Uncle Murda allegedly was assaulted by a member of Papoose's entourage while attending T-Pain's album release party.[1] Sources claim a member of Papoose's entourage punched Uncle Murda as he came out a NY club on 13th St. and 10th Ave. The alleged assault is said to have happened as an act of retaliation for a track by Uncle Murda which is believed to be dissing Papoose. However, Uncle Murda later released a video on the internet shortly after denouncing the rumours. Uncle Murda confirmed that he did get into an altercation but claims no one laid a finger on him.[2]
