Untitled

Under The Influence of... is the second studio album by Love Unlimited.

This album became an underground smash in gay and black bars and dance clubs. Long before it hit #1 on the Hot 100, "Love's Theme" ubiquitously played as anthem opening and closing each night's festivities. The vocal tracks like the title track was practically chosen because of the feverish reaction in the clubs. "It May Winter Outside" almost follows The Supremes hit B-side, "Everything's Good About You" from their "I Hear a Symphony" and "Diana Ross & The Supremes Greatest Hits Vol. 1 & 2) albums. Undoubtedly, the familiarity of that melody was another contributing element to "Under Influence of Love"....become a Top 3/Gold sophomore album." (Still mysteriously has never been digitize on CD or as an MP3). It has been issued on CD as a limited edition 24- bit remastered (import only)as of 2017.
