University of Afrin

The University of Afrin is a university etablished within the de facto Federation of Northern Syria – Rojava in the city of Afrin in Syria. It started teaching in August 2015. Initial programs were in literature, engineering and economics, including institutes for medicine, topographic engineering, music and theater, business administration and the Kurdish language.[1]
