The University of Buraimi (UOB) (Arabic: جامعة البريمي) is a private university in the Al Buraimi Governorate in the Northern part of Oman. The university was officially opened on 6 November 2010. The university claims to be officially affiliated with five prestigious European universities and offers programs under Omani and European control. However this claim is not substantiated.[1]

Colleges

Currently, the university has officially opened three colleges.

College of Health Science

Offers Nursing, Optometry courses.

College of Engineering

Offers degrees and diplomas in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering.

College of Business

Offers courses in Business Administration & E-Business Management,Export Oriented Management and Management Information System.
