The University of Louisiana at Lafayette Police Department (more commonly ULPD or University Police) is the law enforcement agency of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. The ULPD's jurisdiction is all property of UL Lafayette.

Divisions

Patrol

The most visible part of the ULPD. The patrol division keeps campus secure through the use of officers in patrol cars, on police bikes and on foot. The division provides security and police presence at all UL Lafayette sporting events, as well as other university events at Cajun Field, the Cajundome, and other university venues. Patrol also escort sports teams and other university groups.

Investigations

The ULPD maintains a fully capable investigations division.

Services

Crime Stoppers

The ULPD maintains an anonymous Crime Stoppers Tip Line for crimes on campus.

Lost and Found

The ULPD has a lost and found location in their office.

Operation Safeguard

The ULPD encourages all UL Lafayette students, faculty and staff to participate in Operation Safeguard. This program involves making a record of the make, model, description, and serial number of valuable items. This helps in the recovery and return of stolen goods. The ULPD will file a copy of your records.
