First edit: July 18, 2010

Three of these subpages, not including the sandbox, are blank and I intend to ask that they be deleted or, since they have had little or no content over time, I will rename them for a topic for which I may add content - as I have already done with one of them.

[[User:Donner60/Sandbox]]

[[User:Donner60/Wikipedia article links]] Articles which I have created or to which I have substantially contributed, DYKs, DYKs reviewed, a recent edit count, plus a few references. I susequently have added some of the information to this page. I may find time to combine it all on one page, or at least delete the duplications from one of the pages.

[[User:Donner60/ACW References]] American Civil War library, bibliography (form of references)

[[User:Donner60/AmericanRevolutionBibliography]] Moved, renamed User:Donner60/Wikipedia style templates.

[[User:Donner60/Colonial era bibliography]]. Moved, renamed User:Donner60/Draft of article

[[User:Donner60/References]]

[[User:Donner60/Wikipedia style links]]

[[User:Donner60/Draft of part of Union brevet generals list]] Moved, renamed [[User:Donner60/EditCounterOptIn]] (was a failed effort to opt in to edit counter; moved substantive Union general section of brevet Union general list here for editing and reducing; some key information can be found in Union generals list in main article space).

My to-do list includes expanding/revising the articles on the American Civil War West Virginia campaign and the individual battles of that campaign, except Philippi which is already detailed; revising/expanding or writing articles on several other battles that occurred in 1861 and 1862 especially; writing at least brief biographies of any Civil War generals or officers often identified as generals or even important colonels for whom there are no pages and for which there are adequate sources; (finished all the legally appointed and commissioned Confederate generals previously without articles); expanding/revising articles on generals which are stubs, incomplete or have obvious errors; expanding/revising the article on the Appomattox campaign and the individual battles of that campaign (the first two of which I have substantially expanded already). I had hoped to stay ahead of the 150th anniversary dates of the Civil War. I am behind on the time goal due to the time I have spent on lists and biographies. I do not intend to add an article for every small battle or skirmish that was fought but I think there are still some notable engagements for which articles need to be added and other articles that need to be expanded. I will occasionally add or add to an article on American history or biography which is not connected with the Civil War. I have been working on a list of members of the Virginia House of Burgesses and have written a few biographies of members. I also have added some DYKs and correspondingly done some DYK reviews.

I also occasionally revert vandalism, mostly to articles which have made it to my watchlist, or correct obvious errors in articles that I happen to read or come across. Since the beginning of October 2012, I have been doing recent changes patrol and reverting vandalism generally, not just from my watchlist pages. While this appears useful, and unfortunately, appears to be necessary, I do not plan to do this as regularly as I have been doing it after the first few months of this year. I intend to return mostly to my previous writing and editing priorities with an occasional look at recent changes at some of the days of the week and times I believe I have seen a higher incidence of vandalism.

I thank User:Bullmoosebell, a brave defender of our nation and our liberties and energetic Wikipedia contributor for the following barnstars. His contributions to our country far outweigh my meager contribution to Wikipedia. I express here my admiration for him and his work and display these awards with pride because he bestowed them.
